The No. 2 Nebraska volleyball team concluded the Husker Invitational facing off against Montana State Saturday afternoon. The Huskers dominated the Bobcats in the match, highlighted by a 25-10 set three victory to complete the sweep.
Nebraska delivered 47 kills off 90 attacks, finishing with a .400 percentage. The Huskers also earned seven service aces in the win. Nebraska defensively held Montana State to 26 kills off 86 attacks for an attack percentage of .128.
Harper Murray led Nebraska with 11 kills off 20 attacks, six digs, three service aces and two blocks. A slew of Huskers pitched in kills to accompany Murray. Merritt Beason delivered eight kills off 18 attacks along with five digs.
Andi Jackson pitched in seven kills off nine attacks and Rebekah Allick ditched out six kills off 10 attacks and two blocks. Bergen Reilly led the Huskers in set assists and digs, tallying up 37 and eight respectively. Lexi Rodriguez also earned eight digs to co-lead Nebraska on the afternoon.
The Huskers improve to 5-1 on the season and will remain home to host in-state rival No. 11 Creighton. The match is set for 7:00 p.m. CT Tuesday night on Big Ten Network.
